Hello, my name is Gregg Downer, owner of Lakeside Custom Woodworks. My passion for woodworking began when I designed and built bedroom furniture for my college bedroom. Since then, I have been building custom one-of-a- kind creations for family, friends and clients. My desire is to create heirloom quality pieces that will be passed on from one generation to the next. An example of this vision is the cradle that I made for my daughter when she was born. As I spent hours designing and building her cradle, I was filled with hope that one day the cradle would be passed down to future generations. This cradle was not only used by my daughter, but also to welcome my son, many of our neighborhood children, and most recently our first grandson.
